Harbor Sunset
It's that time of year now, when you don't need to work late to see the sun set from the office. I'm not crazy about working downtown but the views are quite a plus.
Chestnuts roasting outside as you walk
With your love by your side
The old accordion man plays mellow and bright
And you go home in the crispness of the night

Certainly beats the Pit you see out of the east side of the building.

No, it's Staten Island. Jeez. How turned around would you have to be to think you could see Coney Island from Battery Park City?

Harbor sunset

The deep blue sky certainly illustrates "the crispness" of an autumn evening. Reminds me of long-ago commuting days to Hunter College, when at this time of year I always sought a ferry seat facing New Jersey on the home-bound trip so as to mellow out in the pleasure of sunset over the harbor.
